The National Competition Commission has announced the antitrust watchdog has closed proceedings against various bullfighters, as well as All Sports Media 66, after All Sports Media offered concessions to end competition concerns. Proceedings were first opened against the entity concerning contracts made with bullfighters in the country; while the authority did not outline the exact allegations made against the parties, the CNC did note that All Sports Media has agreed to designate contracts to bullfighters without forcing them to remain bound by their agreements after they sign to a new agency or rescinded their contracts. ASM additionally agreed to no longer control the rights to bullfighters’ images of the 2013 season and beyond for marketing purposes.
