U.K.: Ofgem’s energy plan must not lead to price fixing, warns FSB

John Walker, National Chairman, Federation of Small Businesses, warned of a potential risk of price fixing that could arise from forcing energy companies to put their cheapest tariff’s, as a part of Ofgem’s plan for “simpler, clearer, fairer measures” to improve competition in the household market. He argues that Ofgem should promote a competitive market through its Retail Market Review work.
