U.K.: Reports say gas scandal was ‘open secret’

The Guardian is reporting in an exclusive piece that the widespread allegations of price-fixing in the gas market was an “open secret” among the companies. The scandal has earned comparisons to the LIBOR scandal, and experts are saying the accusations show weaknesses and gaps in competition authorities’ powers.
