U.S.: Exclusive – Rosch to remain at FTC until replacement confirmed

 |  November 12, 2012

Commissioner J. Thomas Rosch of the Federal Trade Commission has confirmed to Competition Policy International that he will remain in his position until the nominated replacement, Joshua Wright, is confirmed by the Senate. Rosch’s term officially ended in October but the FTC allows him to remain in place until Wright comes on. In an email to CPI, Rosch confirmed that he is willing to remain Commissioner to ease the transition and commented on his future plans:

I have suggested a couple of dates certain after the beginning of January to facilitate our planning, but nothing has been agreed to at present.
