U.S.: Ocean Spray sued for $1.86 billion for cranberry price-fixing

Ocean Spray has been sued for price-fixing their cranberry juice concentrate products for $1.86 billion. The plaintiffs remain unnamed. The lawsuit also charges the company with driving cranberry prices down, causing local farmers to suffer. On basis for the allegations is a 55-year-old deal with the government over cranberry trade-monopolization.
