U.S.: Watson Pharmaceutical confirms favorable ruling in antitrust litigation

Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is an integrated global specialty pharmaceutical company. The court found that the plaintiffs’ claims were unsustainable because the underlying patent litigation was not objectively baseless and did not constitute sham litigation. The court had previously granted Watson’s motion to dismiss all claims asserted by the Federal Trade Commission concerning the same settlement.
