UK: Adidas, Nike targeted for unsportsmanlike business

Sportswear retail giants Adidas and Nike are reportedly in hot water over allegations of anticompetitive behavior, say reports.

The Office of Fair Trading received complaints regarding the companies’ refusal to sell products in small retail stores. Specifically, say reports, they will no longer sell products with merchants who earn less than $41,000 in sales every year.

While the OFT confirmed it received the complaint, reports say the companies have not been notified of the allegations. The regulator will likely probe the matter, however.
