The UK’s Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Greg Clark, has made Andrea Coscelli the new Chief Executive Officer of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Dr. Coscelli has held the position of Acting CEO of the CMA since last year, when he took over for Alex Chisholm.
Dr. Coscelli joined the CMA since 2013 when he became an Executive Director.
Greg Clark said of the appointment, “I want to congratulate Dr Coscelli on his success in the role of Acting CEO, and I look forward to working closely with him in the coming years.”
