UK communications watchdog Ofcom will reportedly regulate Internet service provider BT’s wholesale fiber broadband prices despite finding that the charges are not anticompetitive.
Ofcom had originally launched an inquiry into how it should monitor and regulate the wholesale prices, and whether BT’s fees leave room for competitors to profit.

Those regulations, however, follow a separate announcement by Ofcom that rejected BT rival TalkTalk’s complaint that BT charges unfair prices.
In a statement, the communications regulator said it “has provisionally decided there are no grounds for action” after reviewing TalkTalk’s claims.
