UK: Watchdog investigates Big Six energy firms over manipulation of market and making excessive profits

    The CMA is poised to claim that the profits of leading energy companies are far higher than they have admitted, This Is Money reported on Monday. The CMA is also expected to address the treatment of long-standing customers, who make up the bulk of the customer base. The regulator believes these are the ones most likely to have a bad deal.
