The UK’s water and waste industry is bracing for a new wave of mergers and acquisitions in the wake of market regulator Ofwat’s pricing policies.
Reports say Ofwat is set to publish the https://www.competitionpolicyinternational.com/uk-thames-water-bill-hikes-unwelcome-by-ofwat/ pricing guidelines set for industry players, which will be valid for five years beginning in 2015. Ofwat proposed about a 5 percent reduction in water bills earlier this year.
