UPC Hungary’s acquisition of RubiCom cleared

Hungary’s competition authority has approved the acquisition of RubiCom by UPC Hungary. RubiCom is the nation’s eighth-largest cable operator, providing television, Internet, and telephone services. UPC Hungary is a subsidiary of Liberty Global and is the largest cable television operator in Hungary. It provides pay-TV, broadband, and fixed voice services.
