A leading lawyer in intellectual property and antitrust matters has joined Haynes and Boone in Houston, say reports.
The law firm announced John Demarco has joined as partner at the Houston’s Intellectual Property Transactional practice. Demarco specializes in matters of IP, licensing and patent counseling, but he has also been involved in antitrust, copyright and trademark cases.
According to reports, Demarco has litigated cases before the International Trade Commission and has played a role in corresponding lawsuits in Japan, Taiwan and Europe.
The litigator is especially versed in cases involving technology, mechanics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and other markets.
