US News & World Report has announced the winners of its 2015 Best Law Firms, including a ranking of the top antitrust firms in the nation.
The consumer ranking site has chosen Binham McCutchen LLP as Antitrust Law Firm of the Year. Arnold & Porter LLP came in second place, while Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP came in third.
US News & World Report’s rankings emerged the same month the California State Bar held its annual awards.
The Bar’s Antitrust & Unfair Competition Section chose Covington & Burling lawyer Phillip Warren as the 2014 “Antitrust Lawyer of the Year.”
The award ceremony was held in San Francisco on October 16.
Warren previously served at the US Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division from 2002 to 2014; he joined Covington & Burling last May and, according to the firm, focuses on international cartel cases.
