US: Court rules in favor of fishermen’s antitrust lawsuit

A federal appellate court has ruled to continue an injunction against Pacific Seafood Group involving the company’s effort to purchase Ocean Gold Seafood, a fish processing plant located in Westport, Wash.

The US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously upheld a federal judge’s 2015 decision in the antitrust lawsuit filed by several West Coast fishermen, including Newport’s Jeff Boardman.
