Experts say science and tech firm Dassault Systemes may be eyeing entrance into the automotive industry as the company announced plans to acquire 85 percent of Germany-based visualization software firm RTT.
Reports say RTT has serviced Audi, BMW, Ferrari and more of the world’s largest auto firms.
While financial details of the deal were not reported, the acquisition will also include RTT subsidiary Bunkspeed.
Dessault Systemes developed the CATIA 3D CAD software.
