US: Estee Lauder free from duty free antitrust suit

Cosmetics company Estee Lauder Companies has reportedly scored a victory after a federal judge dismissed an antitrust case against the company filed by Duty Free Americas, say reports.

    Duty Free sued Estee Lauder on allegations the cosmetics firm was attempting to squeeze rival retailers out of the market to obtain a monopoly on duty free shops, frequently shopped at in airports.

    The suit was dismissed last week in Florida. The decision was not immediately available.
