US-based online travel aide TripAdvisor has reportedly made a deal to acquire France-based restaurant booking website LaFourchette, though terms of the merger were kept private.
According t reports, LaFourchette works with thousands of restaurants across Europe and also offers developing services for restaurants to help boost online presence.
TripAdvisor similarly offers restaurant booking services as well as hotel reservations. According to the company, the acquisition will streamline its existing services.
Reports say an aggressive acquisition agenda has pushed TripAdvisor to first place in the market of online travel research.
