 |  November 25, 2014

A former attorney general for economics at the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division has been honored by Yale University, say reports.

Fiona M. Scott Morton has been designated the Theodore Nierenberg Professor of Economics at the Yale School of Management, the university said Monday. Morton served at the DOJ from 2011 to 2012 in the position. Additionally, she works on the editorial board for several economic publications.

She has been with Yale’s SOM since 1999 and focuses her teaching and research on competition among businesses, pricing, market entry and product differentiation, the school says.
