Hunton & Williams LLP has announced a new managing partner at its office in Washington, according to reports.
David Higbee will replace Andrea Bear Field, who had held the position since 2000. Higbee has been at Hunton & Williams since 2005.
Before joining Hunton & Williams, he served as chief of staff and deputy assistant attorney general for the US Department of Justice antitrust division.
Reports say nine lawyers have also been promoted to partner.
Correction: An earlier version of this article implied Higbee had joined the law firm. Higbee has been at the firm since 2005. This article has been updated to reflect the correction.
