US: Former DOJ counsel to Assistant AG Baer joins Hunton & Williams

Chief of staff and counsel to the US Department of Justice’s Assistant Attorney General William Baer, Jamillia P. Ferris, has joined Hunton & Williams LLP as a partner at the firm’s antitrust and competition practice.

Reports say Ferris played a major role in the recent Apple eBooks price-fixing case initiated by the DOJ.

In a statement, she said she was eager to use her experience at the DOJ “to help our clients navigate the ever-changing antitrust landscape.”
