Economic and financial advisory firm Cornerstone Research announced Thursday that antitrust economist guru Kenneth G. Elzinga has joined the company.
Elzinga, who once served as a special economic advisor to the US Department of Justice’s antitrust division as well as a consultant to the Federal Trade Commission, was described as “one of the nation’s top antitrust experts” by Cornerstone CEO Cynthia Zollinger, who says the company and Elzinga have worked together before.
According to a press release, Elzinga will be joining the company from the University of Virginia where he is a professor of economics. He will join Cornerstone as a Senior Advisor.
