The former Deputy Chief and Chief Economist of the Wireline Competition Bureau at the US Federal Communications Commission, Dr. Donald Stockdale, will reportedly join Bates White at the law firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice, say reports.
Stockdale will also join the firm’s Communications & Media practice; he joins the firm as a partner at both practices.
Stockdale had previously spend 17y years at the FCC serving in various positions. While at the agency, Stockdale oversaw major mergers and competition enforcement regarding the telecommunications industry.
