On October 2, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) released on its website the agenda for the third session of its Hearings on Competition and Consumer Protection in the 21st Century.
The next session of hearings is scheduled for October 15 through October 17 and the FTC will be accepting comments until December 14.
The focus of the hearings this month is primarily multi-sided platforms, which will be one of the topics on all three days of the hearings. Additionally, on October 16 the topic of antitrust in labor markets will be addressed and on October 17 the acquisition of startups in the digital marketplace will be discussed.
