US: Global Cash inks $1.2B gaming deal

 |  September 8, 2014

Global Cash Access Holdings announced Monday it has reached an agreement to acquire Multimedia Games Holdings in a $1.2 billion transaction.

Reports say both companies’ boards of directors have already cleared the takeover.

The companies said they expect to close the deal early next year, though the buyout remains subject to regulatory approval.
