Jennifer Schwab has joined Honigman in the Antitrust and Trade Regulation practice group. She joins the firm after serving 12 years at the Federal Trade Commission.
“The addition of Jenny Schwab to our practice provides us with significant additional depth and experience to serve our clients, particularly in the health care space, where we are among the national leaders,” said David Ettinger, chair of Honigman’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation practice. “We are very pleased she chose to join our practice.”
During her tenure at the FTC, Schwab served as an attorney advisor to Commissioners Terrell McSweeny and Rebecca Kelly Slaughter, where she advised both on the full array of competition matters pending before the Commission, with a particular focus on health care matters and policy. She also spent several years as a staff attorney in the FTC’s Mergers IV Division, where she was responsible for all aspects of merger investigation and litigation in the health care, consumer goods, and retail industries. She additionally served as a counsel to the director in the FTC’s Bureau of Competition from 2010-2012.
Schwab received numerous awards at the FTC, including the Chairman’s Award for Distinguished Service, the Bureau of Competition’s Director’s Award, and the Janet D. Steiger Team Award.
