Peter McCormack, an antitrust & competition associate in the New York office, will be promoted to partner in October 2016, forming part of a deep and experienced bench of antitrust attorneys in New York.

“We are delighted to welcome Kate to our antitrust and competition team in New York,” said Ian John, an antitrust partner at Kirkland & Ellis. “Kate’s arrival and Pete’s well deserved elevation reflect the significant growth and success of our practice in New York, particularly in relation to transactional counseling. We expect to continue expanding the team in parallel with the growth of the Firm’s M&A practice as well as our market-leading antitrust litigation work.”
