On March 23, 2018, the Klein Law Firm announced that a class action complaint has been filed on behalf of shareholders of Henry Schein, Inc. who purchased shares between March 7, 2013 and February 12, 2018.
The lawsuit alleges that Henry Schein made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that Henry Schein was engaging in unethical, anticompetitive behavior through agreements with Benco Dental Supply Company and Patterson Companies in violation of US antitrust laws in order to maintain profitability in a consolidating health care industry.
Shareholders have until May 7, 2018 to petition the court for lead plaintiff status.
