US: Local grocery chain sues bleach giant Clorox

 |  October 29, 2014

A local grocery chain is reportedly launching legal action against bleach maker Clorox.

Woodman’s grocery store is accusing Clorox of price discrimination by making their bulk products only available to warehouse clubs like Sam’s Club and Costco. The grocery chain argues the practice is anticompetitive and hurt its ability to compete with the larger wholesalers.

Clorox vowed to defend itself and denied all allegations made against the company, say reports.

The lawsuit was filed in Wisconsin.
