US: Multi-million buyout of clothing line True Religion explored by Morgan & Morgan

Law firm Morgan & Morgan has announced that it is looking into potential legal action against the board of directors for clothing company True Religion Apparel, Inc. concerning its acquisition by TowerBrook Capital Partners. The deal is worth about $838 million. Morgan & Morgan says it is looking into whether True Religion shareholder received an unfair price in the buyout, which gives $32.00 per share. According to a press release, the firm is also looking into how the clothing company’s Board of Directors came to approve of the deal and whether they made all possible efforts to ensure that shareholders received the maximum value per share possible.
