US: NY gets new Chief of Antitrust Bureau

The New York Attorney General has announced a new appointment in the role of Chief of the Antitrust Bureau. AG Eric T. Schneiderman announced Tuesday that Eric J. Stock will serve the new position. Descriced as one of the state’s top attorneys, Stock will head the enforcement of competition law within New York and will serve as a NY representative for federal antitrust matters. Stock is currently a partner at Hogan Lovells LLP and is the Chairman of the Antitrust Section of the New York State Bar Association. Stock has said he is “honored” to join the Attorney General’s team and says he will ensure “fair prices” for the state’s consumers.
