Michael Bromwich, a prominent litigator, political appointee and former partner at Mayer Brown, Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and Goodwin Procter, is joining the litigation boutique Robbins, Russell, Englert, Orseck, Untereiner & Sauber, the firm announced Wednesday.
Effective Monday, Bromwich joins the Washington, D.C.- based shop as senior counsel. He will continue to run his consulting business, the Bromwich Group, which he formed in 2012.
“I’m really excited about it,” Bromwich says of his move, noting that he’s known many of the lawyers at Robbins Russell for decades. Working with them “will be a really nice thing on a day-in and day-out basis,” he says.
