US: Senate Subcommittee on Antitrust to hold hearing in March on Concentration
On Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2:30pm EST, the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy, and Consumer Rights will hold a hearing entitled: “Does America Have a Monopoly Problem?: Examining Concentration and Competition in the US Economy.”
Chairman Mike Lee of Utah will preside over the hearing. Witnesses will include: The Honorable Robert B. Reich, Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy, Goldman School of Public Policy, University of California at Berkeley; The Honorable Joshua D. Wright, Professor of Law, Executive Director of the Global Antitrust Institute, Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University; Professor John Kwoka, Neal F. Finnegan Distinguished Professor of Economics, Northeastern University; and Professor A. Douglas Melamed, Professor of the Practice of Law, Stanford Law School.
