US: Slew of new defendants added to online travel booking price-fixing case

 |  May 7, 2013

UK-based conference firm EyeForTravel has been named as a new defendant in a purported class action alleging various travel agencies and hotels of price-fixing online. According to court documents, EyeForTravel is accused of “facilitating” collusion between the firms from 2004 to 2012 by holding industry-only meetings. The amended complaint was filed May 1 in Dallas and consolidates various other lawsuits dating back to August of last year.
