US: Time Warner gains new buyout suitor

 |  November 28, 2013

As Charter and Comcast reportedly rival in pursuit of a Time Warner Cable buyout, a new bidder may soon shake-up the game.

Reports say Cox Communications wants in on a deal, according to an unnamed source, who said Cox is willing to discuss a potential merger or full acquisition.

Cox, however, declined to comment on the matter.

News of the additional suitor comes just days after reports said Comcast and Charter are potentially discussing a joint buyout of the cable company.
