Tucker Ellis welcomed Deana Cairo as a partner in its Denver office, the firm announced Thursday. Cairo joins Tucker Ellis from DLA Piper in Washington, D.C. and will work in the firm’s antitrust and competition law group.
Cairo is an antitrust trial lawyer with more than 15 years of experience trying cases in federal and state courts and representing clients in civil and criminal investigations before the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general. She regularly defends clients in class actions and multi-district litigation.
“Deana is a state-of-the-art antitrust lawyer with experience ranging from the defense of international price-fixing cartels to structuring and implementing compliance programs for Fortune 500 companies,” said Pat Pascarella, Tucker Ellis antitrust and competition law chair. “We are very pleased to have her on the team.”
Cairo received her law degree from George Washington University Law School and her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, where she was Phi Beta Kappa.
