US: World’s largest airline moves step closer to reality

 |  March 28, 2013

American Airlines has officially won approval to merger with US Airways, according to reports, in a deal that will result in the largest airline on the planet. The Department of Justice, as well as US Airways shareholders, have yet to approve of the deal; the parties said they expect the deal to close by this fall.
