US: World’s top equipment rental firm earns merger clearance

The world’s largest equipment rental company, United Rentals, announced the Federal Trade Commission has cleared its acquisition of National Pump, say reports.

    United Rentals will acquire North America’s second-largest pump rental company and the companies said they expect to finalize the merger in the second quarter of this year.
