OPEC sued for price fixing and market division

The political advocacy group Freedom Watch has charged the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) with price-fixing and market division. Freedom Watch seeks to protect American civil liberties. According to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, OPEC artificially inflated crude oil prices by limiting the oil that each country can produce.
