This week, the EU’s chief antitrust official will be visiting the US and meeting with US Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) officials..
Commissioner Margrethe Vestager will be visiting Washington, DC, on Tuesday, September 25, and will be back and forth between New York and Washington from Wednesday through Friday, according to the European Commission’s website.
On Tuesday, Ms. Vestager will be delivering a speech at a Georgetown conference and on Wednesday she will be attending the 2018 Bloomberg Global Business Forum in New York.
Back in Washington, she will meet with the DOJ and the FTC before participating in the Axios event “Competing in a 5G World.”
