Zimbabwe: Investigation extended into cigarette leader for alleged anticompetitive behavior

Zimbabwe’s largest cigarette manufacturer is now in hot water with the nation’s Competition and Tariffs Commission, according to the regulator. The CTC said in a statement that it will be investigating British American Tobacco Zimbabwe as to whether the company violated law; while reports did not say exactly what legal breaches the company may have made, the CTC did say that they may have restricted competition in the market.
