Takeda Pharmaceutical anunció el jueves 18 de octubre que la Comisión de Comercio Justo de Japón ha dado luz verde a su adquisición de Shire por US$62,000 millones de dólares, lo que acercó a la firma japonesa a cerrar un acuerdo que lo convertirá en uno de los 10 principales fabricantes de medicamentos del mundo. El acuerdo, que será la mayor compra en el extranjero por parte de una empresa japonesa, ya ha recibido la autorización incondicional de los reguladores en los Estados Unidos, Brasil y China.
