Square’s Android Customers Gaining Traction

Android-using merchants now account for nearly half of Square’s merchant base, according to a Feb. 6. report from Tab Times. iOS-using merchants account for the other half.

In 2010, roughly 62 percent of Square’s customers used iOS, compared with just 38 percent for Android.
