The Mercatus Center At George Mason University Hires DOJ Economist

The Mercatus Center at George Mason University announced that Dr. Gregory J. Werden will be joining the Center as a Visiting Scholar.

    Dr. Werden worked as an economist at the DOJ’s Antitrust Division for over 40 years, including as Senior Economic Counsel. He made many contributions to the theory and practice of antitrust, including contributing to the DOJ’s merger guidelines. He earned a doctorate in economics at the University of Wisconsin.
