Schiff Hardin announced Tuesday, January 8, that Jack Bierig has joined the firm as Counsel in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Chicago. Bierig was a Partner at Sidley Austin, where he founded the firm’s health care practice and co-founded the Non-Profit Institutions group.
He represents some of the nation’s leading professional societies, trade associations, and accreditation and certification organizations as well as numerous other clients. Bierig represents these clients in litigation and counsels them on antitrust issues, corporate and governance matters, contracts, copyright, trademark and trade secret matters, and a variety of health care, FDA, and other regulatory issues.
Bierig has represented numerous clients in investigations and litigation brought by the US Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, in private antitrust litigation, in health care fraud and abuse matters, in copyright, trademark, and trade secret cases, and in regulatory and contract litigation.
