UK: CMA promotes director for sector regulation to Executive Director of Enforcement

The U.K.’s Competition and Markets Authority has announced the appointment of former Norton Rose Fulbright LLP partner and current senior director for sector regulation Michael Grenfell as its new executive director of enforcement.

    Grenfell is set to officially begin in his new position on July 15 and will replace Sonya Branch, who left her position as executive director in May to become the general counsel for the Bank of England, the CMA said in a July 2 press release.
