Malaysia: MyCC hears appeal of airline fines

Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia Bhd have concluded their oral arguments against fines imposed upon them by the Malaysia Competition Commission, and the regulator is now considering the arguments, reports say.

    While MyCC chairman Tan Sri Siti Norma Yaakob noted that the companies can appeal the fines to the Competition Tribunal, she also confirmed that the authority is now reviewing the arguments and will make a final ruling on the case in the coming days.
