As the UK focuses on energy competition amid outcry of soaring electricity and heating costs, Prime Minister David Cameron has reportedly denied reports that regulators are urging the industry’s Big Six players to initiate a price freeze until mid-2015.
Political officials are set to offer their Autumn Statement this week to announce developments in the energy sector as families complain of high costs. Big Six energy firms, which include British Gas, Npower and Scottish Power, are reportedly planning price hikes of up to 10 percent for the winter.
