South Korea: FTC head vows tightened grip over competition

The head of South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission has vowed to intensify the regulator’s enforcement of competition law to crack down on price-fixing and other anticompetitive practices.

    At a press conference, FTC Chairman Noh Dae-lae promised to “produce results” in efforts to establish a fair business environment. The watchdog said he plans to “strengthen our enforcement power” going forwards.
