Canada/China: Major PC firm now in the running to acquire Blackberry

    The China-based Lenovo, the disputed leader of PC sales, may now be in the running to buy the Canadian Blackberry. Following rumors earlier this year of Lenovo’s interest, reports are now saying the company has signed a non-disclosure agreement to review Blackberry’s books.

    The news comes following Fairfax Financial Holding’s initial deal to acquire the company for $4.7 billion.
